Remus Centre Section, ECU re-set ??

Hi, I've ordered a Remus centre section for my Vectra, and I've decided to mod the air box, remove the pre-cat and fit the Remus all in one go.

I understand the ECU will need to adjust to the changes.
Some say drive for 30 miles at 2000rpm, others suggest leaving the earth lead off the battery for half an hour to re-set the ecu.

you can either drive steady for about 30 miles [ use below 4k rpm ]

or disconnect the battery for 10 minutes [ to reset the ecu ] and then drive steady for 30 miles

resetting the ecu will give a better response 🙂

At least driving for 30 miles at below 4000rpm, will give my hands time to stop bleeding after removing the pre-cat 🙁
