I think all Nokia's seem to be released with a buggy firmware in the first instance, and then over time (say 6 months after initial release) this does seem to get fixed with a new version.
I agree Matt, I've had nothing but Nokia's for the past 14 years, but my last, a 6280 was a complete pig.
I don't care to remember how many times it went for a frimware update, and after 4 months it bought the farm.
When I popped in to exchange it for another, I asked ALL the salespeople in the store to show me their phones.
All but one had Sony's, the other being a Samsung, so I ended up leaving with a Sony Ericsson W850i.
After using nothing but Nokia's for so many years, it took a couple of days to get used to it, but 7 months down the line, I'm happy to say it's the best phone I've ever had.
If you're looking for a phone, take a look at SE's range, I'd recommend them to anyone 😃
