Round the bend with my Center section

I just fitted my new Cybox center pipe,

Took me ages to get it adjusted so the joints would`nt leak, at the same time
trying to keep it as far to the back of the car as possible
cuz the first bend keeps tapping on the floor. think the oem one was really close too.

I just cant seem to make it clear,,, any ideas ?

best i have got it, is so it only taps when idle,,
driving me nuts feel like jamming a bit of wood in lol

take it off and bend it, keep trying until it misses :roll:

I know it's a ballache, but that's all you can do 🙁

Dont you have one of these cybox pipes, its a hell of a strong pipe.

I think it would just kink if i tried to bend it, that is if i could. notsure.gif

Im just back in tonight from driving it
and oH my god I feel like ripping it all off :evil:
probably down to the back box i have, but its not even a nice deep sound, it very tiny.

i got the cybox had no trouble sounds good not OTT had it fitted professionally was blowing but soon sorted with Ex paste clearance was good to

Do you know, is there any give up at the pre-cat joint ??
That might give me a wee bit more

from what i remember they did not put it all the way home at the front by the cat you could see bout an inch of clean steel where the old sleeve came off maybe you could try that just bring it back a bit from the cat?? I'll put a pic on for you tomorrow

Anything would help right now.

Been round the exhaust places today with no luck,
was trying to get an old bit of pipe, an end with the slip-on,
Was thinking if i was to put another short bit in it will allow me to have all the joints fully home and give me a wee bit more lenth.

got pic now iirc the original pipe was about an 1" 1/2 longer then the cybox but still enough for it to fit the red arrow in pic shows where i think the original pipe was also looks like they use 2 clamps at the local tyre center like i said i had mine fitted i just watched lol..

My wee friend help me fix it, his name is hammer lol

I found that my heat sheild just needed tapped in a bit doh..
and this has given me the gap i needed.
