I asked this question a few years ago as I thought 'whats the point replacing a timing chain which has only done 31k' notsure.gif
the answer I got was to replace the kit, as changing the oil jet requires 90% of the effort as replacing the complete chain kit :?
I really didn't want the expense and just bought the oil jet, but as I was fitting a ported big valve head and everything was removed anyway I chickened out and bought the complete kit :shock:
I was glad I did, the original jet had a blocked outlet and the original chain was quite stretched, I was lucky :roll:
so my advice........replace the complete kit cheers..
