Group F 186-225 g/km £190 (What we pay now) (2.2`s are 202g/km ) up £15 a year. That £205 a year from next year! :evil:

How come the 2.2's have gone up there in the group for the £190 not £205 as like you said only 202g/km

I didnt say there in a group for £205 now, there in the £190 group at the mo,but will rise to £205 next year.

I can imagine. I find it bad enough with the 1.6 and considering the state of the roads around where I live, it makes you wonder where the money actually goes.

they'r like shit too.

the government just tends to use car drivers to fill up the holes in their budget.

Like for example excessive amounts of speedcamera's and massive undercover radar speed control.

For a while we even had SUPER FINE's. If u got flashed doing 36 in a 30 zone it was tsatjing !! -> almost a 100£

my sis has been caught 3 times the last month by undercover speed controls. my dad who hasnt had any speeding fines for his entire driving career has even been flashed a few times alrdy.

Or lets sayu put ur car on lpg (autogas) then its better for the environment thus u'd say u have to pay less tax but nooooo they make u pay an xtra 100£

Bloody hell, I'm quite suprised at that. Do you get points on your licence as well if you get caught speeding?

The whole speed camera and government budget sounds exactly the same as the situation over here

yeah as hes gone to work in guernsey and had no 1 else he could trust to look after the car..

with the recent things thats happend its on my terms now :lol:

he pays for insurance and tax and i pay for the petrol i use and i get to take it to car shows cheers.. roll on trax again :lol:

I had to tax mine the beginning of this week for April 2007 and its £205 from the day of the budget change NOT next year. What a damn rip off. I got caught out last year too, went from £130 to £165 or what ever it was, making sure it wont happen next year as will probably go up to £400.

I was surprised to find my 2.2 Signum cost £205 to tax this time round. We are not going to get caught up with 4X4 gas guzzlers are we ???

you dont get points but if u drive too fast then u have to go to court infront of a judge and he will decide about the fine, for how long u will lose yer licence and etc but previous traffic fines will be taken into account.
