I normally remove the hubs [buy a cv nut socket], then the driveshafts [if you get the driveshaft level, then use a prybar at the gearbox cv, the shaft will come out easily]
next I remove the downpipe, then disconnect all wires/pipes etc, lastly the fuel pipes
then I would lower the engine/box together
