Bugger, that looks painfull !
When #2 son visited at the weekend, I discovered that he had his surname tatood (that doesn't look right whichever way you spell it !) in old English script across his shoulder blades. Three months ago when he turned 18 and he never told me.
Now he has passed out from his basic training in the army he has had a rather large scorpian done on his left shoulder and arm. The claws are either side of his shoulder and the body runs down his arm and curls under towards his armpit.
He never actually told me about this but ddn't hide the fact that he was putting lots of moisturiser on it while the skin finished flaking under the ink.
I've no idea how much this cost him but I would imagine it made his eyes water, specially the tail.
I have never really approved of tatoos having seen enough guys and pictures of people who have gone way over the top. I just don't find it attractive. Having said that, Ashton's scorpion is actually rather impressive. I just hope that he doesn't go on to have loads more done.
I do find small, discrete tatoos on women very sexy. Daft or what ????? I once found myself talking to a very attractive young woman (early thirties I guess) who had a small rose tattoo on the top of one of her feet. She was an assistant in a sweet shop in the States. I couldn't take my eyes off it and she sold me carrier bags full of sweets !! :-)
