Bought the missus one of these as an early birthday present today.

Have to say, after having a little play with it, and loading all her music onto it, I'm very impressed. Looks great, is tiny, and still get all the same functions as my 5th Gen Video one (apart from the video obviosly)

WOW! I love the look of that. I want a new head unit, as the one I have in at the minute is shite. Thinking about getting a new one for my birthday.

Same here, my birthday next month which is when the Alpine should be released!!! Fed up of the set up i have now, on my second connects2 adaptor for my ipod to sony and that has now failed! This Alpine is built for ipod!!!

From what i`ve read its only compatable with 5th gen unless apple release some new firmware, this site seems to be the cheapest for it.

i got my misses the 4gb nano for crimbo, were both impressed with it think its good little pieace of kit just think putting the music on it is a bit of pain in the arse. i think it should be drag n drop like most mp3 players.
