oil nozzle modification

reading through the forum i see alot about this oil nozzle and chain snapping. am i correct in saying the early ones suffered from this and if so what year and reg did they sort this out? also can you get this mod done to sort it out so it woant snap? what does it involve and how much? also can you do it your self

all engines built before march 2002 can be affected, so 52 plate vehicles [sept 2002] onwards should be ok

or engine number 11064500 onwards have the newer chain kit

the new chain kit costs £95 + a few gaskets etc, this can be fitted DIY, not much harder than a cam belt to change

or z22se member Benny [vx mechanic] will supply and fit for around £250.......he is our official 'Cam Chain King' :lol:
