pjevo 2.2 engine weighs approx 140kg's. Most courier's don't go over 30kgs! Anybody know (a good) one that does provide a cheap reliable service for sending an engine say 200 miles? Paul
Mark_Dj I would have done it myself but just noticed I don't have a hatchback car at the moment. I would have just thrown it in the back of a car I had. I have a saloon Vectra diesel at the moment and I know it won't fit in that.
JohnnyN I use TNT delivery service for any of my stuff. They've always been brilliant. You'd have to check the weights though? http://cgi.tnt.co.uk/ratechecker/enter_details.asp ;-)
emc4raz best bet is to get it on a pallet, and try www.palletshift.co.uk , i think its about 42quid for delivery, but you got to drain the engine and make sure its secure on the pallet, use pallet wrap around it
astra22bertoneauto You could also try www.parceltogo.co.uk (they also do pallets) They search the cheapest option based on your dimensions & weight. Ive used them a couple of times, once when i sent a pallet to edinburgh from london
