Deal or no Deal?

Well I now have the Coupe 2.2 on my drive way if I want to swap it for the Vectra Sri 2.2 (02 plate) I have coming this week. As you know the Vectra I bought has had a little fire damged to the glovebox area needing a dash, but it starts and drives ok. This Coupe 2.2 needs a little work also as the drives side has been keyed all the way down one side, some scuffs to the passenger side that needs paint work. The rear spoiler is snapped and the boot lid damaged but I have a silver boot lid to replace that. I would just need to find a spoiler. The Coupe has 60k on the clock. I have the V5 with this Coupe now and the old Mot thats ran out. What should I do? notsure.gif

Hummmm, my choice would be to have the coupe. Tidy it up alittle bit and you`ll have a decent motor with decent mileage. Did you find anything with the misfire??

The misfire was the battery not having no power left in it. It was a twat to drive home as the throttle is also electric. I now have a new battery on it and it's running a dream. I just need to know if it's HPI clear now so then I know how I stand.

That case then it would be tidy it up, stick another spoiler on it and keep it..... Barring the HPi being all clear that is.

I have just noticed the passenger seat is swisted and broke lol. I am sure some of the members on here will know someone who can access the HPI system for me for a good rate 🙂

The road tax ran out on the 03/06 and the Mot ran out 10/06

Not sure mate. My mates brother done the deal / swap for a car he had, and it's my mates brother who wants to deal me the Coupe. I think the last owner was into drugs or something, maybe banned from driving.

I want a 2.2 again but I don't think this one is the right car for me just yet, so I think I will sell it if I do the deal. If I get myself a Coupe it will have to be black, a hatch 2.2 would have to be black or silver. Vectra C would have to be black or sliver. The Vectra I have just bought is Cat C. The Coupe above should not be recorded and just needs a little paint work. I just hope the Hpi is good to me..

My Vectra Sri 150:
Year: 02 plate
Damage: Cat C recorded with small interior fire. Starts and drives. Needs new dash and some plastics, carpet.
V5: No - May also need a VIC check
Mot & Tax: None

Astra Coupe:
Year: 2001
Damage: Rear spoiler and boot lid damage, passenger seat swisted and damaged. Drivers side has been keyed so needs paint work to tidy it up and paint work to new boot lid.
V5: Yes full V5 present
Mot & Tax: Both ran out in 2006

Well I found out last night the car has outstanding finance on it. I am going to phone the finance place up today and see what they say about it.

Well it looks like it's no deal. I have just been on the phone to the finance place and thay say they have interest in the car. I ask how much was outstanding but they said they can't tell me, data protection. Balls..........

well at least you did a HPI check and found out now before swaping and not after.

Sell it mate after I have replace all the damged parts like the dash. I am trying to make my money grow at the moment so I can get myself a nice 2.2 car. It will be an Astra I get or a Vectra C Sri 🙂

It sure will mate. My mate has one down at his yard I can pull out when I can be bothered lol. My girlfriend likes this Vectra for some reason.
