just got home from work to find the girlfriend has put £20 of unleaded into an empty tank of her citroen zx diesel car!!!??!!
She has made it home, probably travelled 3-4 mile from garage, she said last half mile was when it started spluttering, so now the exsisting diesel that was in the lines has been used and now we are left with neat petrol in the system.
What i need to know is; if it is worth draining the juice out and messing about or will the heat caused have damaged the pistons beyond repair? bearing in mind the car is worth probably 700 quid?
