Z22YH - 2006 MY
Well - just got a 2006 MY Signum with the Z22YH 2.2 litre Direct Injection. Not as much character as the X25DT `BMW M51' turbo diesel in my previous Omega, but pretty smooth for a 4 pot, and more than adequate performance to get points on your licence ! We shall see as the miles stack up .....
I did think about the V6 184 bhp Isuzu diesel but it adds 150 kg to the car, and there have been reports of problems with this engine in Saabs .... Maybe cured but I did not want any hassle !
