Alpine Help

ok was guna go pioneer speaker wise BUT my sis's bf is some bigshot that worx for alpine in germany(i recently found that out lmao) and now i can get my hands on alpine stuff for a better price.

So i guess its alpine all the way! lol

Now since i can get the stuff cheaper i been thinking of gettin type-x.
Are they worth the xtra money? Or should i stick with type-r ?

been doubting between SPX-177R and SPR-17S as compo's and gettin SPR-17C coaxials for my rear quarters

Some advice please?
Maybe type-s is alrdy more then enough and gettin more would be a waste but i really dont know much about ice stuff :roll:

Also any suggestions for a woofer + amplifier? Doesnt need to be 1000w rms, i just want some background bass to go with the speakers so the sound is complete.

hey i have S types up front and there good for 45wrms more that enough for my setup and very loud. from what i have been told the R types are the same design but with a better coil able to handle 70wrms. the X types should be great but personally i would not spend the extra cash on them i just get a new set of s types when mine break or sound poo i had 4 X type subs only have 2 now but they need 800wrms to run properly due to the size of the coils . and you can never go wrong with alpine IMO see here its all alpine --> https://z22se.co.uk/evocarlos.php

and for a sub a S-type with 350w-400w rms is enough i think tbh.

Max i'd go is R-type SWR-1222D / SWR-1242D wich is 500rms and 1500 peak. I want some nice bass bu doesnt need to be a disco, more like complete the overall sound cheers..

spr-17 s component set = ordered
330w max - 110w rms

spr-17c coaxials for my rear quarters = ordered
300w max - 100w rms !
