finally fixed the vec 🙂
fault one, sounded like a diesel = replaced timing chain tensioner
fault two, eml light = replaced EGR valve
fault three, knocking rear suspension = replace anti-roll bar nut
so the egr valve and tensioner failed at the same time, when both were fine :?
can't see anything wrong with the tensioner and the egr valve moves - but the potentiometer seems iffy :roll:
anti-roll bar nut kept coming loose, so fitted a new one, only a pound 🙂
