Balance Shafts chain change

Hello people this is my first post.
I must say great site with loads of info 😃 .

I'm currently changing the timing and Balance Shaft chains on the misses car, due to both chains being looser than Will Youngs back side.

Right when the new Balance Shaft chain goes on, do the Balance Shafts need to be set in a certain position notsure.gif

Any help most welcome. cheers..

it's as critical as the cam timing :shock:

this is a rough pic of the timing marks
red squares are coloured links on the chain
purple dots are marks on the cogs

Thats as I thought, couldn't see the marks on them but was getting a bit dark.
