My mid section has just started blowing so i thought it was a good time to upgrade to a remus (and the fact that VX want £260 to fit a standard one!). Ive ordered one but im no mechanic and just wondered if there is anyone in or around the birmingham area that can do this for me? Obviously i'll give ya some wedge for your time, but the cheapest quote i got from a garage is £45 which seems obscene to me

Anyone in a position to help me out?

try an exhaust centre, ask how much for cash 🙂

After ringing around for a bit i got a garage that will fit it for me for £20 cash 🙂

My next question is do i need anything else other than the tube? Any gaskets or does it come with them (ordered from LMF)?

But your fitting place should be able to get them cheaper then LMF, other wise pre-buy the gasket and spring bolts from a motor factors i priced it up and should only be £5 for the lot.

mine done the same mate, put the remus on myself and works fine, just dont forget the wire gasket between the backbox and the remus
