We had a vectra c in today for a wiperlinkage fault ( common fault ) and the guy looking at the job says that the chain is rattling its spuds off. We gather around this 06 reg 16,000 mile vectra c, and yes the chain is making a break for freedom. To cut a long story short the tensioner had jacked itself into the unloaded position or it had been like it from day one. The car has had no work done to the engine previously is this something for the future. dunno..
