barriedg anyone got any idea about bhp gains from this? or any good/bad info on it? im thinking of purchasing one.
vocky which motor are you fitting it to notsure.gif if it's the full intake system, on a standard engine you will get maybe a couple of bhp generally a free flowing intake helps the engine breath better, thus throttle response is better cheers..
barriedg vec b facelift. for about 250 i would expect more than the norm or a panel filter for £30 would give as good results for a fraction of the cost
barriedg so what your saying is, give the £250 filter a miss for the panel filter and a few cold air feeds? im shocked that they charge that if theres no good gains, i thought it was a bit suspect that there was no reference at all to gains thanks
barriedg i hear k&n induction/filters are too oily and can damage the car, is there any danger of this with the panel?
vocky the oiling is only if an air flow meter is fitted, the extra oil damages it I've had a k+n panel filter for three years and had no problems with it
