Mark_Dj gazza1591 said: how do i tell if mine is a sleve or flange fitting ?whats the differance ? A sleve fitting is when the ends slides into the other side of the exhaust and you secure it with a clamp, just like the cat side onto your center section (the part you could not free off today). The flange fitting is how your Irmscher back box is held on with the two spring bolts to remove it.
Gazza cool mine has the 2 spring so it will fit 20.gif thats my next buy as soon as i get that precat out
Mark_Dj Only buy that one if you plan to keep your Irmscher back box as other back boxes at a later date will probably not fit
Gazza yea i like my back box 😃 surely a specialist exhaustplace could make it fit anyway if i did change it notsure.gif
Andy have read loads of good things about the remus center pipe, the only negaitve i have read is that it sounds quite raspy when you first fit it but soon goes away. thats what i've read anyway :?
l7jnd I have this centre tube fitted with a Remus rear box, the rear box fits fine. Sound is nice, not too loud, just deep and rumbley.
Jatie_150 I had 1 on my motor for a year or so with an irmscher back box nice sound a bit to loud on motorway runs ....
ambivect You can have a listen to the remus on the 2.2 Vectra...wouldn't have thought there would be that much difference.... http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mallwood/remus.htm
