I think that it is all connected - end result is that more damage has been caused by oil starvation - so don't want to mess around at that level. :shock:
Looking at a reasonably priced bottom end - need a cyclinder head as well as I cannot be sure that cam/followers haven't been damaged.
Alternatively - might source a completye drop in engine.
Anybody know the price of a new crate engine from Vauxhall?
