Matt I realise it's not a 2.2, but this morning my broke down. It does start, but the engine management light comes on. The revs shoot up to about 4k, and then bounces all the way back down and then cuts out. If I rev it, the revs are jumpy as well. Anyone suggest what this could possibly be?

Matt Cheers Neil, the symptoms are more aggressive than when I had to have the EGR Valve replaced. I'm going to see what it's like when I leave work, and will more than likely have to take it to VX tomorrow to get it on the Tech2.
2_2SRi Might be worth investing in a code reader mate. I did when mine was playing up, well worth the money. If i wasnt working away you could have used mine as im in sheff.

dodger if you feel like spending some money you could still have a Tech2 test as it stores all the previous faults and maybe be able to tell what went wrong
