Biggest Milage??

I sold my irmscher exhaust on ebay last night, to a lad who had an x reg 1.8 astra with 190,000 miles on the clock!! The body work was fantastic and the engine was still running sweet. Just goes to show that a well maintaind Astra can do some serious milage.

the vx engines will go on forever (almost :lol: ) with correct maintenance 😃

agree, as long as you service it on a regular basis and look after it then they are good for high miles.

I dont know why people worry so much about mileage. I was considering getting rid of mine soon as it has just hit 64K but whats it's worth i may as well keep it a bit longer.

I would say anything over 100K to be high though.

I would consider high mileage to be 150k these days :shock:

I think any car over 100k will also start to lose performance.

not really, mine is over 100k and still managed 162bhp on a rolling road.

Ive an 02 reg astra on 80k (motorway mileage up and down that M1 🙁 )

I had a 1994 merc in at my work the other day which was on 303k miles :shock: (I know its no vauxhall but thought Id mention it)

A guy who comes to our yard has an Opel corsa van (x reg) with 396,000 miles! but sadly its an Isuzu diesel engine :?

i always worry about the mileage, when do we try to sell our motor so the value hasn't gone to shit with it's high miles...then if you sell a car at around 70k can you then afford another lower mile one

Was in a taxi last night with 199,000 on. went alright but had a few rattles
