Just been flicking through some old photo dics and came across my old Astra sport, unfortunately no longer mine as a growing family required a 4 door, hence the Vectra as the next choice.
It was only a 1.8, but after a Cavalier 1.7TD it felt like a rocket.
I know this site is for the 2.2 but I couldn`t resist posting these as time and money nowadays stops me doing what I would like to my plain looking Veccy.

Yes, would like a set for the Vectra, inexpensive but a good look I`ve always thought.
Post these pictures, I put the crome bootstrip on the rear which against the blue looked really good.

Yeah, I think Daz has a set on his Vectra as well, and on a black car, look great.

Managed to get the wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres for £750.
Seemed good at the time, until it came to replacing the rubber, £180 a corner for the same brand, managed to get on with some middle-of-the-road tyres for about £80, but add balancing and fitting!!!
Thats whats putting me off 17s on the Vectra, Ive seen plenty of wheels I like but doing 112 miles a day I tend to chew through rubber if Im not carefull.......(2.2 - carefull notsure.gif )

vectra 17" tyres are only £55 each :shock:

Great, thanks for that.... going to pay £50 sometime this week to replace one of my 16" tyres.
That changes my out-look on new 17`s 😃
