blue_se2 Has anyone bought anything from China or Hong kong? I'm thinking of geting a reverse camera just woundered if there will be any complications VAT/TAX? or if people have had trouble buying from there. The seller is a power seller with 34000 buyers. Any help would be greatful.
vocky I've bought a couple of cheap bits (phone parts) from hong kong, had no extra to pay the postie not sure on more expensive items dunno..

JohnnyN Be careful Neil. I started buying from Hong Kong and that was when I started getting 'Spoof' log in pages and my ebay identity got used. It took about 3 weeks to sort out as my account was suspended for inquirey. I've never traded with Hong Kong since.
vocky I've been getting spoof ebay emails for ages :lol: items below about £15 customs tend to ignore 😃
Matt Yeah, spoof e-mails from E-Bay have been doing the rounds for a good 18 months now, only take them serious if they have your name or e-bay username in them, and also pay attention to the spelling/grammar and also if you hover over the link, if it shows somthing like http://18.268.568.248/ebay DON'T click it
Daz I got my psp from hong kong b4 they were released over here....bargain ...until a bill for £20 dropped thru the door from fedex...
bembo22 ive also been looking at dvd roof monitors for the 'c' ! i get that anything over 18 quid you pay duty on ! but how much would i pay on £191 ??? tried looking on hm website ! just went round in circles !! doh !
