I've been DJ'ing for about 2 years now, and as Mark said, when I first started uploading my mixes, I wasn't very good, but stuck with it, and taught myself how to do it.
Hardest thing I think about mixing is knowing all the tunes you mix with, so you know what sound good together (which is a bit difficult when you've got a few 1000!)
