Stairs?

I have nothing on the stairs yet in my new house, I don't know what to do on the stairs dunno.. . Carpet is the normal thing, but I don't want the dogs getting it manky :? . What else can I do with the stairs? Ideas please :razz:

we have wood varnished ones with a small bit of carpet in the middle on each 😃

I've still got to sort my stairs out, the previous owners have glossed the edges white, and had a small carpet in the middle, and when we moved in, the carpet was gone, and it looks gash now. Carpet is a good idea, as a lot of heat can be lost through bare floorboards, which is what is happening in my case.

I would go with either full carpet or centre carpet

the trick is to buy good quality carpet, I used to buy whatever was cheapest, but it only lasts 12 months at best

hessian backed carpet is best, but costs more :roll:

I was thinking of just a centre section as mine has been painted just like yours matt, at the sides. I will look into it 🙂
