jayp1983 i know that if you have 'x' amount of money you can have whatever engine you want in your car, but i'm just wanting to know what other GM engines fit into a vectra b i.e saab 2.3 turbo, 2.0 turbo, monaro v8(ls6). i'm wanting to know just to see if its cheaper upgrading the engine than buying turbo or supercharger for my z22se. i'm also thinking of the great veccy c vxr engine. any info would be a great help guys. thanks
Matt I've seen a Vectra with a V8 Monaro engine in (there is also Pete's Astra on astrasport.co.uk which is having a Monaro engine fitted at the minute)
jayp1983 do you have any info on the v8 veccy, would it have been converted to rear wheel drive? also is it a veccy 'b'?

vocky the v8 thread on astrasport is very good reading 😃 as for transplants, the saab [post 2003] aero 2.0 turbo engine bolts straight in drool.gif you just need to fit a different flywheel, can't remember which one :oops:
jayp1983 just been looking at that v8 astra, bloody hell is all i cay say. it looks like he is doing a very good job of it aswell.
