Since I'm moving the site to it's own server, I'm going to try covering some of the costs by offering web hosting for members on here.
The server will be managed by myself, and I will also be able to provide support for your website as well if required.

The Platform
The platform of choice for over 75% of the internet, Linux functionality, adaptability and robustness has made it the main alternative to Microsoft operating systems. Popular open source applications like PHP and MySQL means a wealth of tools are available for blogging, forums and galleries.

500MB Linux Disk Space
10GB Monthly Bandwidth
1 Domain Name
10 Sub Domains
5 MySQL Databases
£4 Per Month

Package 2 - Intermediate
1000MB Linux Disk Space
20GB Monthly Bandwidth
1 Domain Name
20 Subdomains
10 MySQL Databases
£6.50 Per Month

Package 3 - High
1500MB Linux Web Space
30GB Monthly Bandwidth
1 Domain Name
30 Subdomain
15 MySQL Databases
£9 Per Month

The control Panel used is Plesk. These packages will be available from Monday 29th January 2007.

NB. I do not offer loads of GB disk space and 1000's of GB Bandwidth, because this server is not being oversold. As I said, I'm only doing this to help cover the costs of the server.

could be interested Matt, i already have my own domain name which i have pointed to my ISP webspace. How secure would my webspace be on your server, i.e who would have admin rights? me, you and the hosting company, not that my information is dodgy or anything

You would have your own Admin panel Roger, which is Plesk, where you can control it all from. I would be the hosting company in effect, as only I have the root password for the server. I would only look at your data if you asked me for help. PM me for more details if you want.

used to run my own forum and thinking of starting something up again....

how come you use these forums then bud? why not use ipb...nuch better and so many more features, i have them on my pc, so no need to pay for it

I use these because this is what I know how to use. I've been using it for about 3 years now on different sites. I know how it works, and because it's open sourced software, I can edit the code to make it do what I want.
I've used both IPB and VBulletin, and have nothing against them, I just prefer this one, and for this site, have spend 13 months customizing it, so not really an option to change it.

I'm a Network Analyst by trade, so work with PC's/Servers/Networks/Routers nearly 24/7. I've got a test site running on a server at work, and I'm trying to install an arcade at the minute, but because of other mods installed, there are a few conflicts which I need to resolve by adjusting some of the coding.
