so the first year of having the car was great then for some reason i all went to sh@t 2 new ecus and various other bits all gratis.. while i was fitting my vecy c pipe the other day i noticed that the fuel rail vacuum pipe was split in 3 places vx had the car 2months ago and told me that they had found a split vacuum pipe and told me it was replaced ..strange looks like they just put some rubber pipe over the split .. see pic so whey are the vx mechanic's so intent on recking customers cars the damage done to my astra is unbelievable most of the time they just deny it (w@#kers) when the warranty is up i'll be doing all the work lol....

get back down to vx and demand some one gives you a explanation for the crap service take pipe with you stand in reception and shout what you think of them i bet you get better service next time

Sorry to hear that you got poor service from your vx dealership, but not all of us vx mechanics are bodgers but there are a few out there as youve shown. Ask to see the service manager and complain to him, also ask him to check the part # on your invoice on there parts computer it will say the last time that part# was ordered if the dates dont match then bingo you`ve got the buggers. woohoo.gif

well there was no invoice the car went in for them to fix the cruse control and poor running when i got the car back after about a hour and half (sitting in the waiting room might i add lol) they said that they had fixed the cruse control and found a split vacuum pipe and replaced it so i thought yeah great cheers got it out on the road and the cruse control still did not work properly(seams to have sorted itself out now tho) and it was still running like a bag of wet horse cack since then i use 10k boost and done the air box mod and vecy c pipe and its much improved as for the broke pipe i had use some fuel line from my RC car its a get me by for now have orderd 1 but im not going to pay for it and will play my face when i go down next but i can guaranty next time they will be more than careless with my car.....
