Matt It's running slow as hell at the minute. I'm only getting 5kbps for download! And, my providers Support line closed @ 5pm! It was like this as well yesterday. Seems to be very flakey.
Daz Had the same with my isp the other week matt....chk this link out... http://www.nildram.net/support/tools/co ... n_checker/

Andy_Coupe I just ugraded with my isp from 2.0 Meg to uoto 8 Meg, was very disapointed when i found out that mine was running under 2.0 Meg still! Matt I'm still running really slow at the minute, but I think it may be my connection to the router, or possible the wireless card in my PC, as it's taking a while to connect to the router.
Matt I think I've sorted it, I've re-installed the wireless card, and it's working great again now. Will be a test to see if it's still working as good tomorrow afternoon
DBcoup after a call to my isp about my speed , they sent an update to my modem and now getting 8000-8500kbs. wasn't very happy as this should be done without a call! noth.
Matt Thats shocking. A call to my ISP would be a last resort, as they charge 50p a minute. I've figured that it's not my Internet connection, as it's fine on my Laptop, it's just my Desktop PC upstairs which is foobard
