M1 Cameras

Right every day i drive up and down the M1. on the slip round at Junc 31 it has warnings of road works for 11 months!

On my daily drive on monday work men have put up yellow poles! by monday pm on my return most of these poles have cameras on. They look like the digital specs ones but there is no sign of any speed camera warning signs.

Does anyone else know what they are? if they are just CCTV

Also what is going off with the traffic lights at the bottom of each slip road on junc 33 34 36??

Dunno about them ones, but i went thru a load that said 40mph
and my bullit was going mad bleeping. (cant remember if it was M1 or M6 tho)
So i stayed at 40 :evil:

Is that the ones on the M42, they are activated at certain times at certain speeds. These cameras look similar to that but are just on yellow poles. I am making sure i go through them at 69.

I cant remember the M42, so i dont think so.
More likely the M6 tbh,

They became Live yesterday 50mph for 11 months while they spend 20M making the hard shoulder another lane! for two junctions!

Thats a joke, I'm glad I only really have to drive on the M1 to go on holiday once a year, it would do me head in having to deal with that every day.

I dont mind driving too much but these road works are really holding me up in a morning. So i will see how i get on, other then that i will be looking for a new job closer to home i think.

you should try driving for NINE miles of average speed cameras between M1 junctions 8 and 11

drives me nuts, soooo boring :evil:
