Ive just tried uploading a pic to my personal galery on here but i cant see the pic even though it stated the upload was fine notsure.gif

Can you see them now Andy? I've just approved them, so you should be able to see them. I'll try changing the permissions so they don't need approving in future.

Thanks Matt, its something ive been meaning todo for a while rather than using photobucket for posting pics on here!

You can also use the Upload Picture button when creating a new topic/replying, and this will automatically put the url and img tags into the post for you.

Matt im confused :lol: Thought i would try and post a pic from my album on here but it didnt work! So tried the upload button where you write posts, i manged to upload a pic of a tiger put i dont know where it went :lol:

Woirked it out, how do you get a pic from your personal album up?

When uploaded it did you get a window come up with the picture in it? If so, scroll down just under the pic and you'll see some options like Insert 'Standard' and insert and upload another or something like that. You must click on Standard to finish the process.

And to insert an image which you have uploaded to the gallery, click the image you want, and you'll get the following screen:

And the bit I've highlighted in blue shows the BB code which will let you insert the image into a post on the forum:

As you can see, by default, it shows the thumbnail, which when you click takes you to the photo in the gallery.
