evocarlos well this was my fear so i started with Tiger seal http://www.paints4u.com/ProductDetails. ... D=5716(the king of all rubberised glues) then poprivits, in the second pic you can see i have used fiberglass filler to bridge the vent to the bonnet then filler to smooth it all out should be OK as long as the bonnet is not slammed shut 😃
