Does anyone know if the plastic engine cover from a vectra B will fit on an Astra G? Thinking of cleaning the engine up for display.

anyone local to you with a vec 2.2 so you can try it?

I think it should work mate. I know some of the Vectra lads wanted to do the same sort of thing using the Astra cover 🙂

the astra has slightly diferent mountings for it cover its go 4 where the vec has 3 but it is only the case to swop the engine braket near the brake servo and the covers will fit straight on

sorry lol reverse that didnt read it right you will need to remove the braket and put a vec one one lol..also you will need a sticker for the dis pack that say vauxhall or ectec or opel or holden ...also is you use alloy polish it will bring you rocker cover up like new and they do look good polished i think griffin from club vec has his and it does look the dogs nuts ......
