Anyone else use them? I have one just watching the drive way on my house. It sits inside the window. It not that good at night though so I was thinking about getting an infared one. Anyone know what they are like? Cheers

This is how mine looks on my pc, I can see both my cars on it...

The picture does not look that good when I take a snap shot because of the program I am using. It's from my tv program snap shot....

I've been thinking about getting CCTV for a while, due to the twat living next door.

I have had mine for years now mate. It cost me £350 back then. You can get a set up now for about £50 to £100. I just have mine plugged into the Tv card in my pc, so I can record and just leave it on. I can take a picture when I want to, but the tv programs settings are crap. I could do with a better program for the camera.

hmm, might have to invest in something then, I've got some spare PCI slots on the PC.

Just be aware guys, you are not allowed to film the public. You can only film your land and nothing else. I put one in my window to mainly cover the car, the next door neighbour, who's company make these systems informed me of the law. I then checked with the local feds who came up with the same answer.

Hmm, I can see my neighbour going in and out of his house next door. I might have to turn it a little more my way lol

Lol, well if I have them both out I may need it. I may come back in and find my front bumper gone. I only really put it on when I want to see who is at the door, well she does.

i quite fancy getting a system like that as a car round the corner from me was broken into

It's well worth having one. I might be getting an infared one soon for night vision 🙂

i got a camera with a sensor on it from B&Q for about £40 lol

got it home only to find its also got a micraphone built in so it records ppls voices aswell as a brill picture

i can set it to come stright on the tv if some 1 walks near or i can set it to a buzzer if some 1 walks past, either way i can watch and listen to them whilst sat in my room :lol:
