Exhaust flexi size?

Hi, my exhaust flexi is blowing on my vectra b 150, would any of you kind folks know the pipe diameter and length of flexi please.

Doesn't seem to warrent replacing the whole lot!

exhaust diameter is about 50mm, length of standard flexi is about 250mm

yes, quite easy with a mig - use stainless wire and argon gas

I'm sure mines gone again. I only had it done in August!

I don't know wheather to put another one on or just buy a complete Hoffman front pipe including sport cat??

I'm getting really p1ssed off with these flexi pipes now.

get a better quality flexi and get it welded in place 🙂

Anyone know off hand if this one will fit?

Diameter is inside measurement so 48mm should be close, but the length is a bit excessive..

The standard flexi is 160mm between the welds at each end, but the link above is the shortest that will fit (diameter).
The one above will be around 200mm lonng with the extra pipe at the ends grinded off, but its still 40mm bigger than standard, and theres a bend in the pipe infront of the standard flexi (not sure how far infront, bit dark to measure now lol).

I hate rust!!

Im confusing myself now, there is just one flexi right??
I saw a pic of someone doing precat removal and it looked like there was one right under the precat too?

you can simply cut a piece of the exhaust pipe out, then it will fit 😃

lol thats what i was hoping to hear, didnt notice how much space there was to chop from at the time.
