DBcoup could anyone tell me the best thing to use to remove the glue when de-badging coz i dont wanna take my paint off as well?
dodger use a hairdryer when removing the badges as it wuld make it easier and use a plastic scraper to ease the badges off. Then use something like meths to remove the glue, meths is the best thing is it dissolves the glue
Matt think dodger has pretty much summed it up there. One thing to remember, give the area a good polish after, as there will be nothing protecting the lacquer once you've removed the badges/glue
JohnnyN White Spirit will do the job. AutoGlym sell a product called Tar Spot Remover. This is the same as White Spirit but has a better smell. As Matt has said, you will need to give the area a good waxing when you've finished. cheers..
evocarlos t-cut gets it off also makes the paint the same color had a mopping accident and had to replace my bertone badges lol
ASTRA2_2BADLAD use as steamer to get behined the badges and it takes em off then steam the sticky black stuff off get real close then just get some polish and job done, that wat i do anyway
