Hi lads,just bought a vectra 02 SXI 50000 on the clock.not sure if it is affected by the chain problem or not. eng type z22se 11077403. these numbers seem to tell me it dont need the new type chain, the 1st reg date is 06-2002 any help would be handy :?

number 77403 should be well clear, March 2002 onwards had the new chain kit

none of the vectra c's are afected the engine numbers that have the modded chain all started with production of the vectra c .....

Thanks benny thats a load off my mind mate popc.. can chill a bit now,she just passed mot no probs,just have to get the service history up to date now,have to book it in,only had a service at 15000 odd.now its 51000,spect it will cost a few bob 🙁 , again thanks for the help you lot.

my 2.2 was born on 8th March 2002 suppose this will have the old small oil jet
