Remus Centre Section will it fit??

This may be a stupid question or one already answered but I was looking at a centre section on ebay and it stated they will only fit models up to 2002?! As mine is a late 2003 do they do one that will fit this model.

I am dying to get a little more out of the motor but the mrs hates loud exhausts so I am stuck wiht the irmy back box I've got. Can anyone suggest any other options for a bit more umph without spending a fortune!

I can't see why it won't fit. The centre section should be the same as the earlier models as it's only the middle section you are replacing. I am sure someone will be able to help you out a bit better, someone may have the Remus fitted the same year/model as your car on here 🙂. What car is it for?

its the astra SRI. i noticed on the ad on ebay it said flange fitment only not the later sleeve fitment. I have only had the car about a month and its still a very new car to work on so I am not totally sure which fitment I have got either! Do you know of any other brands who do a centre section?

The flange fitment will be for the rear end as I have fitted a few Irmscher and others to my cars before and the come apart with two spring bolts. I would defo think your car has the flange fitment. Take a look at the rear box on your car, look under the car to at the end of the back box and see if you can see two spring bots holding it on with a clamp. If it has yours is the flange fitment. It's very easy to tell just by getting on your knees and looking under.

cheers mate will have a look in the morning when its a bit lighter and the fog has gone! Also while your here have you got any other recommendatiosn for this engine? I went to remove the pre-cat but found I haven't got one! done the usual panel filter upgrade and de-restircted the air box. Just got a set of Iridium plugs as well but I'm unsure of what else can be done fairly easily and cheaply?

As for other mods maybe a chip or ported throttle body. You are lucky not to have the Pre Cat! Mine was a pain to remove lol. Have you also got the Vectra C air pipe mod?

Cheers for the pic mate will make it much easier! No I haven't got the Vec air pipe, is it worthwhile? I am "planning" to take the thorttle body off on saturday to give her a good clean up! Can you port a throttle body yourself or is it an expensive job?! I was a bit annoyed to take the exhaust off to find I han't got one! Should have checked first would have saved a load of time and effort!!
