Well the last time i visited this forum was when my chain guide had snapped! which was a couple of months back at least!....Anyway not only had the chain guide failed and took out the 8 inlet valves the car had took up smoking :? from the arse end that is! and developed a drink problem (oil).....yep the guide failure had took out a piston as well cryb....so i went back to the garage where i had,had it repaired, played my face for a while..they then offered to source me a used z22se for £600 (only 20000 on it) fit it free of charge, along with a new cam chain kit and my new cat (with pre-cat removed) and frick me what a difference! the car pulls nicely through the gears!! (no more flat spots)....the exhaust tone is spot on! and no more rattling on start up...(yet). Im also discovering there is a life after an engine failure! and ive found that i can travel at least a mile without turning the stereo off to listen for rattles........lol 😃
