Ok I'm after some general advice and guidance from you guys in the know.
My Vectra currently has the CDR500 head unit, which is generally a pretty good unit, ok sound and the steering wheel controls and dash display are very useful.
I also have two young children so the thought of a DVD player to keep them amused is appealing.
I like a clean and uncluttered look, plus I have to take customers out in my car sometimes, so it has to look neat and tidy as well. So would I be better with a DVD head unit and using an additional to 2 x Headrest screens ?
Looking in the car mags these also give me the option of sat nav built in but do the DVD units come with the option to link into the steering wheel audio controls and the dash display ?
Or I have seen (in the current Total Vauxhall), a guy that has built a PC into his car, with a powered screen that does everything for him, again not sure how good this setup would sound?
On the note of the dash display, does anyone know if you could get a 4" LCD to go in there and show the trip computer info and then switch between that and maybe the sat nav, it's at a good eye level for when driving so if you could get a screen in there, showing the sat nav that would be damn useful.
Anyway just a thought and some idea's to bounce around ?
