Well I decided that I wasn’t going to do any real engine mods to my car, apart from the panel filter and air box mod.
After lots of good reports I booked my car into Jayson at Chipped UK.
I wasn’t expecting that much from my 2.2 but thought I would see.
I rolled up on Saturday morning, the premises are very clean and tidy.
Jayson & Simon explained what they where going to do. They ran a quick health check on my car before my first run on the dyno. I felt very re-assured with there professionalism they showed.
Jayson said the car ran well on its first run, it produced a healthy 138Bhp and around 147 of torque. He did say the car had a couple of faults showing on the ECU though at this point.
Jayson then did his magic which cleared the faults on the ECU, He also asked if I wanted him to look into the faults but as he had cleared them I didn’t think it was necessary. Another run on the dyno and the car pulled 155.9bhp and 168.5 of torque showo..
Jayson was slightly concerned about the air filter until I explained that it was only fitted a week earlier. He explained that it still needed to be broken in, and that I should se a slight increase when it does.
He also explained that the new figures wasn’t all down to the map as the faults codes previously found on the ECU was probably holding the car back slightly.
We then popped out in the car to see what I thought. I could really tell the difference straight away the car pulled so much smother and I could really feel the extra torque.
On the way home I could really tell / feel the difference, no flat spots and car pulled so much stronger from 4K.

Jayson runs a very professional out fit and has a real passion for what he does. Just thought I would let everyone know of my experience I had with them.
