Several newspapers report today that a teacher was sacked after telling her nine year old class that there was no such person as "Father Christmas" and the elves and fairies were also myths. Parents were upset at this and complained to the headteacher who terminated the teachers contract.
Should a teacher or anyone for that matter be sacked for telling the truth? What does everyone else think?
