I've just installed a 12cm ultra quiet fan on the front on my tower, and 6cm ultra quiet fan onto the CPU heatsink, and the level of noise from the PC has more than halved. The only other fan now is a 8cm fan on the rear of the case which I need to replace, as thats the only one you can really hear now. 🙂
