Got a wee problem and trying to diagnose exactly what it is... :?
Noise happens when im setting off through first and second gears, its a sort of low-pitched squeaking/groaning noise. It happens repeatedly if I am on and off the biting point too.
It only used to happen sometimes but now its all the time.
Ive been told if may be the release bearing on the clutch but just wandering if anyone else has had the same problem. Maybe its nothing to do with the clutch... maybe yous can help?
The clutch isnt slipping yet so im not in any hurry to change it, but when the time comes I want to get a gid quality one. Anyone recommend a decent clutch, possibly rated to about 300bhp... ive got my eye on that Courtenay turbo conv @ 260bhp he he :twisted:
