2.2 YH Throttle response

I've noticed that when I'm accelerating up through the gears, when I take my foot off the throttle the revs don't die straight away. I am I right in thinking it's an electronic throttle on my Vec C? Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance

revs always linger on vauxhalls, especially the electronic throttle models
