Miles/Kilometres setting??

Is there a way of switching between miles and kilometres showing on the speedo. A mate of mine has his speedo showing kilometres and wants to put it back to miles. He doesn't know how it happened in the first place.

Its on a Vectra Arctic 1.8 (S Reg)

Any help please.

yeah it definately can be done but can't remember for the life of me how, have read it somewhere though.

not much help really lol.

hold the reset button and switch ignition on then let button go it should change back???

Just had a phone call to say that holding in the trip reset button whilst switching on the ignition does switch between miles/kilometres.

He has successfully returned his speedo to miles.
