i can get hold of a well equiped laptop well good for the money,the only problem is the usb ports have been broke on it how hard would it be to replace and what sort of price ?

not to sure to be honest have not seen the damage but in therory could they be replaced ?

yes in therory anything can be replaced or fixed. I was given a laptop that did not charge the battery. Found that the power connector had no centre pin, found one on ebay for £6 then downloaded the service / repair guide from the internet, stripped the laptop down got the motherboard out and repaired it, now have two laptops.

usually soldered directly on the motherboard, easy to replace if you have the right equipment.

It may be worth finding out the make and model & number of the laptop so that you can do a bit of research before you get it so you know what you are in for.

well got the laptop for £25 all works apart from the usb ports they have been broke,so i need to find new ones anyone help
