Maybe when it's got the throttle bodies 8)

A tuning article about the z22se engine in Total Vauxhall December 2003 was what inspired me to start tuning my vectra 2.2 sri, so I can only blame them for all the money I've spent since :lol:

took her for a gentle drive for a few miles and then returned home for a check over, nothing to report 😃

initial impressions;

very very quick acceleration rallygif

exhaust quite quiet though, should have bought a piper :lol:

makes my vec cdti seem positively slow and that has a 180 bhp tuning box fitted :shock:

Excellent Neil, I hope that we get to see this beast at an event pretty soon. It really must fly to make the 180bhp CDTI seem slow, esp with all the torque they produce.

in the vx it's - pull away, change gear, hit 60 :shock:

in the cdti it's - pull away, wait a second, change gear, wait a bit, change gear, hit 60 :lol:

passed it's MOT today 😃

didn't run out until the end of the month, but I always take my cars early 🙂

just got back from the bodyshop, I've had the paintwork done on the wheel arch, so all Europa Blue now 😃

pics to follow when the trim has been refitted :roll:

also picked up a spare wheel today, so now I can refurb the wheels much easier, saves leaving the car on an axle stand :roll:

fitted an alpine stereo the other week, so that's the interior finished 🙂

been busy today finishing off a few bits 😃

removed and painted both side vents 🙂

removed engine tray and fitted a pair of powerflex uprated engine mounts 🙂
